Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to do beforehand to prepare for my cabin's arrival?
If your site is flat, you can sit the cabin on the ground as it comes with treated skids which are suitable for sitting on any surfaces.
If your site is not flat, or you want your cabin to sit on piles, we can supply you with a skid plan so you can put down some piles prior to the delivery of your cabin.
(Delivery will need to be done by HIAB truck as the cabin will need to be lifted onto piles).
Who will deliver my cabin?
CW360 models can be delivered by van trailer. The cabin can be removed from the trailer on a frame on wheels, then can be moved into position. CW480 and CW480 D models can only be delivered by HIAB truck. We would need to contact the trucking company and organise a price.
What is the cost of delivery?
Delivery costs can vary between models so when you enquire about a cabin, please specify which model you are wanting and the address of where it is to go. That way, we can aim to specify cost of delivery and access.
Is the cabin insulated?
Yes, all our cabins are fully insulated. The walls and ceiling are insulated with Bradford Gold R2.2. The floor is insulated with EXPOL polystyrene.
How high is the cabin?
From the ground to the top of the roof, the cabin is 2,900mm at the front and 2,600mm at the rear.
Do I need council consent?
No, in most cases you do not need council consent.
How can I order a cabin?
Ordering a cabin is easy after you and I have confirmed the delivery is possible and have chosen what colours you are wanting. Once everything is confirmed, we ask for 10% deposit then begin building your cabin.
